Human Resources has a New Location
Human Resources at UC Berkeley has moved to the Power Bar building
The Human Resources department at UC Berkeley has moved from University Hall to the Power Bar building.
Our new address is:
2150 Shattuck Avenue, Room 750, Berkeley, CA 94704-3540.
The campus mail code is #3540. Phone numbers have not changed.
Our main reception desk is on the 7th floor of the Power Bar building. Benefits, Employment Services, and Records Management are also located on the 7th floor. HR Administration, Compensation, Employee and Labor Relations, and Strategic Initiatives are located on the 6th floor. Staff Equity & Diversity Services and the Center for Workforce Development remain in University Hall on the 6th floor.

1. Will visitors be required to sign in at the Power Bar lobby? Yes.
2. Will I need my Cal ID to visit HR at the Power Bar building? No.
3. What zip code should I use for sending mail to HR? For any mail coming through the US Postal Service, please use 94704-3540. For campus mail, use Mail Code 3540.
4. Will Billing and Payment Services be moving to the Power Bar building? No.
5. Where is the Power Bar building? The Power Bar building is located on the southwest corner of Shattuck Ave. and Center St.
6. Where should I send new hire paperwork? As of 4/2/07, new hire paperwork should be sent to: HR - Records Management Unit, 33 University Hall, MC 3544, Berkeley, CA 94720-3544
7. Did the Payroll Office move? No. The Payroll Office is not part of Human Resources, and Payroll continues to be located at University Hall.
