Article 33

WAGES

1. Wages shall be paid in accordance with the wage schedules as set forth in Appendix 3, with the following exceptions:
   
2. In addition, a skill premium may be paid in special situations within the unit at the sole discretion of the University. UC proposes the following:
   
   1. There will be no change in wages for classifications represented by GCU from October 1, 2007, to October 1, 2011, except those title codes listed in nos. 2 and 3 below.
      
   2. Because of UCPS’ recent acquisition of a 2-color web press, the operator’s rate will be equivalent to that of the current
      2-color Press Operator, Title Code 8874 with an additional 3% skill premium. In the event UCPS acquires a 4 color press the rate will be equivalent to the 2 color web press rate.
