Note: Due to low attendance at information sessions last year, Retirees can "drop-in" to the HR Benefits office at the specific times listed below.

- Actions you can take during Open Enrollment:
- Change to a different medical or dental plan
- Enroll in the ARAG Legal plan
- Enroll eligible family members in your medical, dental, vision or legal plans
- Re-enroll or enroll in the Health Flexible Spending Account or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account. Remember, you must re-enroll if you would like to participate for 2010, as these plans do not automatically roll over to the following year.
- Opt out of your medical, dental, or vision plan, or enroll in a new plan if you previously opted out.
- Change participation in the Tax Savings on Insurance Premiums (TIP) program. Please note enrollment is automatic unless you opt out.

- Health Flexible Spending Account:
Before you enroll in the Health Flexible spending Account (Health FSA), read both the information booklet and the Summary Plan Description. Once enrolled, there are severe limitations imposed by the IRS on when you can make changes or cancel your enrollment during the year.

A paper form, the UPAY 850, is required to complete your request and is subject to payroll deadlines.- Opt out of medical, dental, vision plan insurance (You can reenroll if you have an involuntary loss of your other coverage during the year.)
- Cancel your legal plan
- Enroll in, change or cancel Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance plan coverage
- Increase your supplemental disability waiting period; to decrease your waiting period requires a Statement of Health and approval from the insurance company.
- Decrease the amount of life or dependent life insurance you are enrolled in; to increase the amount of coverage you have requires a Statement of Health and approval from the insurance company.
