Budget Provision Levels

Note: Budget Provision Levels are used in the budgeting process for planning purposes for centrally funded positions. They should not be used to determine hiring salaries or salary levels for filled positions. If you do not need to know budget provision levels, please visit the salary ranges page for a simplified version of the salary ranges.

The Budget Provision Level reflects the level of pay that the Budget Office will fund for a centrally-funded position when it becomes vacant. Department funds may be used to supplement the Provision Level. Non-centrally-funded positions are NOT affected by the Provision Level. Please contact the Budget Office if you have questions about the provision level.
