HCM: Organization Tree Reports

When running a BAIRS report, if you need to find your Org Node Code (recently retitled DeptID in BFS) in the Berkeley or UCOP Organizational Tree structure, please visit the BAI website.

On the BAI web page, you will find two manually-produced Excel files, one showing the entire Organization Tree for Business Unit 10000 (UCB) and the other for Business Unit J0000 (UCOP). The Excel files are updated monthly. They are not separated by Control Units. To find a specific department or unit within the file, type Ctrl+F and search by keywords.

Another option for finding your Org Node Code is to use this Org Tree Worksheet  (Excel), which is sorted by org node. Use this for the VLOOKUP function in Excel or import into Access and join to your data.
