Recipient Descriptions

Department HR Administrator

The HR Administrator is determined by looking at the department id on the job record being updated. Given the department id, the HR Administrator is looked up in the Department Workflow Recipient table. If there is no entry for the department, no Department HR Administrator email is sent.

Supervisor

The supervisor is determined by looking at the supervisor field on the job record. Then the supervisor's email address is looked up. If there is no supervisor on the job record, or the supervisor does not have an email address, no supervisor email is sent.

Employee

Notification is sent if the transaction is for an employee (vs. non-employee). If the employee has no email address, no employee email is sent.

Non-Employee

Notification is sent if the transaction is for a non-employee (vs. employee). If the non-employee has no email address, no non-employee email is sent.

Payroll

The payroll recipients are determined by looking in the Constants table under the constant "PAYROLL_JOB_ACTION_EMAIL".

The Vocational Rehabilitation recipients are determined by looking in the Constants table under the constant "VOCREHAB_JOB_ACTION_EMAIL".

Security

The security recipients are custodians of access to various resources (applications) including HRMS. These individuals are notified so that priveledges of terminated employees are revoked, for example.
