Integration with campus systems
The project will include the development of interfaces and/or points of integration to the following UC systems:
- Payroll Personnel System (PPS) for Payroll and Timekeeping functions.
- Berkeley Financial System (BFS) for Chart of Accounts and Chart String validation (integration may be achieved via data replication rather than a systems interface).
- Berkeley Integrated Budget System (BIBS) for Position Resource Tracking of permanently budgeted positions.
- Title Code Table or Title Code System (TCT/TCS) for management of titles and components of pay.
- BIS/BAIRS II - for reporting including user definition of reports and data extraction parameters.
The configuration of HRMS and its integration with the systems listed above should also allow the University to retire the following systems:
- Berkeley Affirmative Action System (BAAS)
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Academic Personnel System (APS)
The functions of the systems listed above are to be replaced by functions of HRMS. HRMS will also offer departments and divisions the opportunity to review their use of "shadow" systems and, in many cases departments may decide to retire them.
