Dear Mr. Luboviski:
This letter reflects the understanding reached between the parties in negotiations concluded in 1996 with respect to the exchange of salary survey data for the Skilled Craft unit at the UC Berkeley and the Ernest Orlando National Laboratory that you represent.
The parties to the agreement will meet to present and discuss salary survey data collected in preparation for bargaining in 1997. Each party will provide salary information, if collected no later than Friday, November 15, 1996. Information collected after this date and before the beginning of negotiations in 1997, if any, may be summarized and provided to all other parties during negotiations.
Any disagreement arising from this process herein described is not subject to the Grievance or Arbitration procedure sections of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Please indicate your agreement with this understanding by providing your signature below on both copies.
