Support for employees from Employment Services
Employment Services offers a variety of services and resources to employees during their transition. Recruiters are available to meet with employees in a one-on-one session to:
- Explain their rights to preferential rehire and recall (if applicable).
- Describe outplacement and career transition services available on campus and in their local communities.
- Assist with resume development for employees who elect to exercise their preferential rehire and recall rights, so their profile can be set up in the eRecruit system.
- Provide material on resume development, cover letter preparation, interview tips, job search tools and strategies, and the normal emotional aspects of career transition, as well as material on financial considerations.
