Organizational and Workforce Effectiveness (COrWE)

The Center for Organizational and Workforce Effectiveness (COrWE) is UC Berkeley’s hub for campus leaders and managers who are seeking to make organizational improvements. COrWE also supports the development of the workforce through learning and development programs aligned with organizational initiatives. COrWE's services include:

  • Organizational Consulting that supports organizational transformation at the school, college, and department levels
  • Learning and Development Consulting to design and implement professional and career development strategies that promote high performance and prepare our workforce for the future
  • Sponsorship of professional networks for campus employees interested in developing communities of practice
  • Deliver Learning and Development programs for individuals and teams in the areas of:
    • Management, supervision, and leadership
    • Business process improvement
    • Project management
    • Meeting facilitation, decision making, and priority setting
    • Desk-top applications
  • On-line learning through the UCB Learning Center and e-Learn
