Business Process Improvement
The need for skills in business process analysis is growing. Good business processes enable efficient and effective operations, high job performance, and the best use of IT solutions.
Business process improvement (BPI) focuses on analyzing the actual processes used to perform business transactions within an organization. BPI seeks ways to:
- create solutions for problem areas
- minimize waste
- improve efficiency
- improve the customer and employee experience
- identify roles and responsibilities,
- maximize time
- reduce costs and risks
- standardize processes where possible
COrWE offers three programs to assist with business process improvement:
BPI Quickstart - A half day workshop to find quick solutions to troublesome business processes
BPI Intact Team Workshop - An intensive 3.5 day workshop that results in a redesigned business process
BPI Project Workshop - A series of 4 workshops to help cross functional teams perform in depth analysis and redesign of a complex process
To date nearly 500 employees have participated in BPI workshops improving 59 processes.
