Business Process Improvement

The need for skills in business process analysis is growing.  Good business processes enable efficient and effective operations, high job performance, and the best use of IT solutions.

Business process improvement (BPI) focuses on analyzing the actual processes used to perform business transactions within an organization.  BPI seeks ways to:

  • create solutions for problem areas
  • minimize waste
  • improve efficiency
  • improve the customer and employee experience
  • identify roles and responsibilities,
  • maximize time
  • reduce costs and risks
  • standardize processes where possible
