Management Skills Assessment Program (MSAP)

MSAP: A great opportunity for campus managers.

MSAP, an program sponsored by Office of the President, has helped strengthen managers' skills for the past decade. MSAP also helps new managers assess their skills in a safe environment that provides objective feedback on the core competencies of effective management.

Please consider nominating your supervisee(s) to be a participant in MSAP by submitting their name(s) to your Control Unit Administrator.

MSAP participants will perform in simulated business environments and receive feedback from high level professional staff from other UC campuses, labs and medical centers. MSAP is a system-wide program designed to provide new managers with an experience-based assessment of their management related skills. The program provides an on-campus orientation, the off site residential retreat and a follow up that helps the manager to integrate the experience into their current management strategies.
