MSAP: A great opportunity for campus managers.
Applications are being accepted for the Management Skills Assessment
Program. MSAP helps new managers by assessing skills in a safe environment
that provides objective feedback on the core competencies of effective
management.
Please consider applying or having your supervisee apply to be a part
of an Office of the President sponsored program that has helped strengthen
managers skills for the past decade. MSAP participants will perform
in simulated business environments and receive feedback from high
level professional staff from other UC campuses, labs and medical
centers. MSAP is a system-wide program designed to provide new managers
with an experience-based assessment of their management related skills.
The program provides an on-campus orientation, the off site residential
retreat and a follow up that helps the manager to integrate the experience
into their current management strategies.

- Application Submission Deadline: Friday, March 13, 2009
- Selection Notification: Friday, March 20, 2009
- MSAP Orientation: Tuesday, April 2, 2009, 1:00pm - 4:00 p.m., Room 24 University Hall
- MSAP Program: April 27 - May 1, 2009, Asilomar Conference Grounds, Pacific Grove, CA
- MSAP Follow-up: Wednesday, May 27, 2009, 1:00pm – 4:00 p.m., Room 24 University Hall
