Xlab looking for staff participants in paid research studies

UC Berkeley’s Experimental Social Sciences Lab (a.k.a. Xlab) needs UC Berkeley Staff participants (i.e., employees who are not students) to participate in research experiments on decision-making.

As a research participant, you can earn between $15 and $30 for 1.5 hours of your time and be a part of pioneering social science experiments.

Join the Staff Subject Pool to be informed about upcoming experiments. Registering does not oblige you to attend—you participate only in experiments that fit your schedule and for which you specifically sign up.

Experiments are usually scheduled for the afternoon, between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

To register as a Staff Subject, visit http://xlab.berkeley.edu/students/register.shtml and follow the instructions.

NOTE:  Paid participation must be scheduled on non-work time.  For non-exempt staff, participation during the regular work day is subject to the approval of your supervisor based on the operational needs of the unit.  Supervisors are encouraged to consider alternative work schedules that allow for staff participation that does not interfere with department needs.
