Time Management System (TMS): Instructions for Exempt Employees
NOTE: Timesheets should be submitted by the 5th of every month. If the 5th falls on a weekend or holiday, please submit by the last working day prior to the 5th.

Your TMS home page will appear.

To enter leave usage, click on "Weekly Entry" (or "Daily Entry" if you prefer).
An exempt employee only needs to enter leave usage (e.g. vacation, sick, and leave without pay).
If you do not have any leave to report, skip to step 5 below.

-
In the first drop-down menu select (under the label "Project"), select the appropriate type of leave and record leave in full-day increments. The "Task" drop-down menu is automatic, no selection is needed.
If you are not a full-time employee, record leave in increments equal to that portion of a day you are normally scheduled to work. E.g. If you are a 50% employee, and you work 4 hours Monday to Friday, then enter 4 hours for the day you missed work.
- Click Save, then scroll to the next week (if applicable) by clicking on "Next Week" in the header.
