Voluntary Separation Option (VSO-1)

In consultation with the Office of the President, UC Berkeley is able to offer a voluntary separation option to non-represented staff covered by Personnel Policies for Staff Members, (PPSM, including PSS and MSP positions) who may be considering separation from the university. Career PPSM staff may apply for consideration for a voluntary separation with a severance allowance, as permitted under current policies.
