Maximizing Employee Input in Management Decision-Making
Selection Criteria:
Applications submitted for the Workplace Success Stories Program in Spring 2003 will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Nomination is by someone who works in the department (faculty, other academic employee, staff, manager, supervisor, department chair or student employee).
- The practice can be replicated or adapted by other departments (e.g., is not inherently unique to any one department).
- The practice conforms to all applicable University policies and governmental laws.
- The practice is innovative.
- It is an ongoing practice.
- It has outcomes that demonstrate an improved environment.
- It embraces the concepts of diverse representation, fairness, and/or inclusiveness.
